FAB Hosts AI Agentathon with Presight and Microsoft to Accelerate Enterprise AI Adoption

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) has partnered with Presight and Microsoft to host a virtual AI Agentathon aimed at accelerating the development and deployment of artificial intelligence solutions across the bank.

The one-day innovation event brought together internal stakeholders, technical experts and global technology partners to collaborate on solving real business challenges. Four cross-functional teams, comprising FAB business and technology representatives alongside experts from Presight and Microsoft, worked to design AI-driven solutions with practical, enterprise-scale applications.

The programme concluded with teams presenting their concepts to a joint evaluation panel made up of representatives from all participating organisations. Submissions were assessed based on their potential impact, feasibility and alignment with FAB’s broader strategic priorities.

FAB said the initiative highlights its focus on moving beyond isolated pilot projects toward delivering tangible, enterprise-wide AI impact. Artificial intelligence is a core pillar of the bank’s transformation strategy, supporting its shift toward a more data-driven operating model.

The bank is prioritising AI use cases that enhance decision-making, improve operational efficiency and elevate customer experience. Through continued collaboration with partners such as Presight and Microsoft, FAB aims to accelerate the development of deployment-ready solutions and embed AI more deeply across its operations.

According to the bank, the concepts developed during the Agentathon will help shape future AI initiatives and support its long-term digital transformation agenda.
